আজ ১৬ই ডিসেম্বর, মহান স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে বিজয়ের ৫০ বছর। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে জাতির সাহসী সন্তানেরা পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর কাছ থেকে ছিনিয়ে এনে ছিল বিজয়। আজ বিজয়ের দিনটি উদযাপনে জাতীয় স্মৃতিসৌধে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করতে ঢল নেমে ছিল সাধারণ মানুষের।
Golden jubilee of victory: Nation pays homage to martyrs
Today (December 16) marks the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's victory in the Liberation War. On this day in 1971, freedom fighters of the nation snatched victory from the Pakistani army. People gathered at the Jatiya Smriti Shoudho today to pay tributes to the martyrs.
